World’s smallest => Smallest Shark Species

 

• The dwarf lantern shark (Etmopterus perryi) is the smallest shark.

• It reaches maximum length of 20cm (7.9 inches) approximately.

• There lifespan is between 20-30 years.

• It is found in Caribbean sea off the coasts of Colombia and Venezuela occurring between Barranquilla and Santa Marta.
