Facts of basketball

Fact 1:- Basketball was originally played with soccer ball. 
Fact 2:- The first balls made specifically for basketball were brown

Fact 3 :-  In late 1950s Tony Hinkle,  searching for ball which would be more visible to player and spectators,  so orange ball is used. 
Fact 4 :- Person who invented basketball is Dr. James Naismith in 1891 and it is an originally American game. 

Fact 5 :-  The first basketball match played in the Armory Street court;  9 versus 9, using a soccer ball. 
Fact 6 :-  For first game of basketball  in 1891 , Naismith used as goals two half bushel peach baskets,  which gave the sport its name.

 From today onwards I started a series which include facts about human body , universe or anything so keep follow me. Facts:- 1.     If you unraveled all of the DNA in your body, it would span 34 billion miles, reaching to Pluto (2.66 billion miles away) and back ... six times. 2.   Almost all of ordinary matter (99.9999999% of it) is empty space. If you took out all of the space in our atoms, the entire human race (all 7 billion of us) would fit into the volume of a sugar cube. This is according to quantum physics. Only two facts for now..
